JOB DESCRIPTION: Must be a citizen. Performs the duties of the Munitions Site Lead and works under general supervision and may act on behalf of the Munitions Branch Operations Supervisor. Communicate contractual directives as Site Lead and organize the Ammunition Supply Point to accomplish regulatory guidelines and tasks. Responsible for oversight, coordination, planning, and providing work direction of subordinates, equipment maintenance coordination and general supply levels when performing specialized functions of the Munitions Branch. Determines tasking requirements, plans action, and schedules employees to meet varying workloads. Plans weekly and monthly internal work schedules and sequence of operations to optimize efficiency and maintain high quality company standards. Monitor adherence to approved standard operating procedures and policies. Maintain a positive customer interface with Military units conducting exercise operations.

Performs and oversees a variety of warehousing duties to include stock control, receipt, and issue, tum in, shipping/packing, inventory, and other duties as required for ammunition, ammunition components, and non-ordnance related materials in accordance with applicable directives. Requires the ability to operate material handling equipment and non-tactical vehicles for transportation of munitions. Will be assigned to support contract support requirements in a job related areas such as environmental, safety, and security.

Position involves working primarily in an outdoor environment which includes periodic overtime, exposure to heat, dust, cold, and inclement weather conditions and will require the operation of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) in performing various warehousing functions and obtain a MHE operator’s license. Physical requirements include {but are not limited to) the ability to lift 50+ lbs., pushing, pulling, carrying, stooping, bending, squatting, climbing, and reaching.

Will be required to handle hazardous material/hazardous waste and use of personal protective equipment. Additional duties may be assigned to support contract requirements in a job-related area such as environmental, safety and security.

Will be expected to participate in warehouse maintenance and/or clean-up of work-related areas. Must be able to work overtime when required. Must have a valid driver’s license.

Must be able to achieve/obtain a favorable government secret clearance within one year and possess a current Hawaii State driver’s license. In addition, the use of hand tools, AlT, powered equipment, material handling equipment, fax machine, copier, and computer software (Microsoft Office) is routine. The person selected for this position must possess excellent organizational and multitasking skills, as well as a Level 1 (basic) command of Microsoft Office. Must possess AMMO-31, AMMO-45, AMMO-54, AMMO-63, AMMO-64, AMMO-67, AMMO-75, AMMO-76, AMMO-68, AMMO-108/AMMO Handlers, AMMO-112, forklift certification, current DA Form 7281, and compliance with the Lautenberg Amendment.

Preferred: High school diploma and five years of applicable experience with supervisory duties. Working knowledge of Windows and Level II (intermediate) proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Microsoft word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint etc.).

Paid relocation assistance is not available. Candidates must currently reside within commuting distance or clearly state a willingness to relocate his or herself.
