We have a great opportunity for a Software Product Manager to join our team.

The Software Product Manager is a unique opportunity for a qualified individual working with customers to deliver OnTraq, HealthFirst’s practice readiness application, as the best-in-class SaaS-based solution for HealthFirst medical and dental customers. The Software Product Manager will provide leadership and execution for new service capabilities across HealthFirst and other key business units. and will be responsible for assisting in the development of product strategy, roadmap, product definition, positioning, and product lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • SaaS platform ownership including positioning, market analysis, competitive strategy, pricing, and launch of new services to maximize market share and profitability.
  • Orchestrate and define the strategy and roadmap for the software product portfolio
  • Collect and analyze VOC from customers and internal stakeholders for customer requirements
  • Be the champion for user experience
  • Works collaboratively with cross functional team members to drive growth for the business segment.
  • Lead sustaining activities for existing software platform
  • Regular updates and present to leadership team on project status
  • Identifies opportunities for increasing customer and business value through product differentiation.
  • Leads new product development process from concept through commercialization, including voice of customer research, definition of customer and product requirements and value proposition, manage product launches and sales training.
  • The Software Product Manager must be able to develop commercial strategies and understand market trends that apply to a SaaS model.

Minimum requirements include:

  • Minimum 5+ years related experience in a software product management role.
  • Experience working with public cloud solutions across Software-as-a-Service or Platform-as-a-Service (SaaS or PaaS).
  • Experience working with cloud-based technologies.
  • Experience in Software Engineering and/or Product Management.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and manage at strategic and operational levels, and to launch new products in the marketplace
  • Experience managing and growing relationships with cross-functional teams internally and externally.
  • Strong analytical skills used to drive-decision making and experience building a business case using market and sales data and financial forecast statistics.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively work with sales representatives on a daily basis.
  • Solid oral, written and presentation skills to effectively communicate and influence a cross functional team.
  • A high degree of intellectual curiosity and effective time management skills.


  • Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college or university required with preference Computer Science or equivalent major.
  • MBA preferred.

Language Skills

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Reasoning Ability

  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.


Some travel (25%) is required in the performance of this position.

Pay: $130,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year
