Job Purpose and Impact
The Senior Project Manager, as a subject matter authority, will independently oversee and handle the operational aspects of ongoing build projects, serving as a leader among commercial management, project management and planning, project team and line management within our Protein North America business. In this role, you will provide strategic vision, leading the project team to align and deliver goals and objectives that meet our business needs within the time frame, funding and procedure requirements for accomplishing the project. Key Accountabilities
Independently identify and resolve obstacles to completing projects goals and objectives on time and to budget.
Adhere to internal and external quality standards.
Monitor and report on the status of projects including cost, timing and staffing.
Independently organize project teams, assign individual responsibilities, develop project schedules and resolve resource requirements.
Other duties as assigned
Provide expert thought leadership in your field and work with limited direction, using additional research and interpretation to identify issues or problems. You may provide direction to supporting team members and be a strategic contributor.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Minimum of six years of related work experience
Ability to travel 25-50% (will depend on location of hire) Preferred Qualifications
Project Management experience with large, complex build scopes
Experience with Portfolio & Project Management framework
Experience with Project Delivery Process requirements, especially with high-risk and full-rigor projects
Mastery with training and coaching teams and facilitating workshops
Practical experience with the application of the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) concepts
Experience leading projects in excess of $10MM or similar highly complex projects requiring facilitation with broad perspectives of project teams and business objectives
