The Role
The Diversity, Inclusion, & Belonging Education Facilitator is an essential member of the team and reports to the Manager of Diversity, Inclusion, & Belonging Education (DI&B). You will work closely with Indeed’s Employee Development and DI&B Business Partner teams to facilitate, create and curate content related to initiatives that drive the organization toward progress on Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging goals.

Responsibilities

Facilitation
  • Apply best-in-class facilitation methods to deliver in-person/virtual experiences where Indeedians learn through practice, reflection, and discussion.
  • Create and facilitate DI&B related train the trainer sessions for other training teams across the business

Engagement
  • Track and report out on the adoption and effectiveness of executed courses
  • Establish collaborative and trusting relationships with participants and be considered an internal resource who can help them apply the concepts learned during the experiences, overcome obstacles, and celebrate success.
  • Attend sessions/classes that elevate job performance
  • Bring in program performance data to inform future iterations of the strategic roadmap
  • Propose and support change management initiatives that will ensure the successful adoption of the different components of the DI&B education strategy

Content Creation and Implementation
  • Organize and execute post-training evaluation of training effectiveness and deliver reports to DI&B Business Partners and Education Manager
  • Lead diversity, inclusion & belonging focused train the trainer sessions with other Indeed training teams
  • Manage local scheduling and training calendar with Education Specialist
  • Develop and deliver education and training programs to promote a diverse and inclusive work environment for all employees
  • Plan initiatives and build content to support overall DI&B goals
  • Identify ways to “retro-fit” training created without the inclusion of DI&B principles
  • Establish strong relationships across the HR organization to develop inclusive programming that is aligned with DI&B’s strategic priorities and considers regional, functional, and cultural nuances
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives such as content maintenance and training materials optimization

Who You Are

Requirements
  • Knowledge of adult learning theories and methods, exceptional training content development; delivery and facilitation skills
  • 3+ years of professional experience in the diversity, equity, and inclusion space in APAC or EMEA with expert level awareness of macro and micro DI&B topics such as systems of oppression, social power dynamics, racial consciousness and ability to dismantle systemic inequities
  • 2+ years of development and implementation of professional development learning experiences (workshops, webinars, peer-to-peer, speaker events) this experience must include facilitating workshops to senior audiences as well as APAC and/or EMEA audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to have effective conversations with a diverse audience while navigating difficult topics
  • Ability to research, write, and curate content while conceptualizing content that will speak to a wide range of abilities, interests that honor the strengths and curiosity of the modern learner.
  • Ability to develop engaging and scalable digital interactive learning experiences
  • Exceptional stakeholder relationship building, consulting, and influencing capability demonstrated across diverse situations and contexts
  • Capable of inspiring trust and confidence through effective project planning and communication by exhibiting excellent problem-solving skills including the ability to digest information from multiple sources, interpret results, and derive recommendations.
  • Ability to motivate learners to take an active role in their learning
  • Ability to solve problems and act independently when needed

Not required but a plus
  • Language proficiency in French, German, Japanese, or Dutch
  • Experience working with a Learning Management System
  • Experience using content authoring tools such as Elucidat and Rise

Salary Range Disclaimer

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Indeed’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include quarterly bonuses, Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), an open Paid Time Off policy, and many region-specific benefits.

NYC Metro Area 70,000 – 94,000 USD per year

Austin 63,000 – 83,000 USD per year

SF Bay Area 88,000 – 118,000 USD per year

US Remote 63,000 – 83,000 USD per year
