We’re looking for a dedicated individual to head up our tech support and community team. This person will work across our different community platforms to engage with members and help resolve their issues in a timely and professional manner. This position is a leadership role, best suited for someone who can recruit, delegate and moderate a team of volunteer staff members whose goal is to support the community as best they can. This position will report directly to the owner Miranda on a regular basis to provide status updates, request help and get clearance for high level community management tasks. Applicants should be friendly, outgoing, outspoken and excited to work in a cooperative environment where original ideas are valued.

While we don’t micromanage, we do have an expectation of availability to communicate via Slack during a wide range of hours and times throughout the week. Your work schedule is yours to make and keep; we just ask you’re available for team discussions and meetings when the need arises.

While we have done our best to include the primary tasks you may face each week, the truth is the community is growing very quickly, and there are always curve balls. We may have to work as a team or share tasks to help in other ways, and this means the role may grow/evolve over time as we work together, making team work all the more important to us.
