Fusion Sport currently has an exciting opportunity for a Human Performance Consultant who is fluent in Spanish to work with our Smartabase Athlete Management System, which is used by some of the biggest organizations in the world to improve Human Performance.
This is a unique and exciting opportunity to gain expertise in the areas of sport science, data analysis, administration, and project management, using an established technology used globally throughout human performance in the sports, military and performing arts industries.
This role is a hybrid-based role, located in our Broomfield, Colorado office, we also offer a relocation allowance for interstate applicants.

Team Description and Role Overview
Our Human Performance Consulting Services team is made up of sports scientists, data scientists and software engineers working together to provide exceptional customer service and a world leading product. The Smartabase Consulting Team works globally with team members in Australia, the USA, Netherlands and the UK.
The successful applicants will receive comprehensive training on the configuration and client support for Smartabase and become a member of our Human Performance Consulting Services team.
The position will involve working closely with a variety of leading sport scientists, strength and conditioning coaches, performance analysts, sports medicine, sports coaches and sports administrators to design, build and implement Smartabase within their organizations.
You will work closely with several clients ranging from professional teams, universities, institutes and academies of sport, national sports organizations and military. Smartabase is a vital part of our client’s high-performance programs. You will need to be fluent or a business level understanding of Spanish. Be competent in utilizing best practice and innovation in multidisciplinary, multi-sport, high performing teams. Being able to manage multiple client projects, from stakeholder engagement, needs analysis, requirements scoping, data management, analysis, reporting, and providing recommendations, are critical skills to be successful in this position.

Build within the Smartabase domain, world-class best practice forms and work flow solutions to meet client requirements
Contribute to concept planning and identification of future platform enhancements, third party integrations
Platform and client support including troubleshooting, testing and reporting on platform issues bugs and communicating with customers, and internal teams
Domain expertise in Smartabase, promoting and acting as an advocate for the product (e.g. demos, conference attendance and presentations)
Planning, Documentation and Communications
Accountable to the development of client specific project planning documentation with an understanding of prioritization across numerous projects within the Smartabase Consulting Team
Contribute to the planning and communications required to ensure that the client projects identified are well scoped, prepared and developed
Ensure planning and documentation is visible and understood by all members of the relevant project and associated teams (e.g. knowledge, developers, Smartabase Consulting team)
Contribute to and facilitate agile processes to enhance cross team communication and skill sharing as guided by the team manager
Attend, organize and contribute to meetings related to project planning / development as required
Degree in Sports and Exercise Science (or similar) with a strong academic record
3+ years’ applied sports science experience in a high-performance sport environment(s)
- Professional proficiency of Spanish
Team or project leadership and management experience
Understanding of the requirements of High Performance coaches and support teams and the common workflows of multidisciplinary teams
Demonstrated practical experience in the use of a variety of sport science equipment (including sensor technology, signal processing and video analysis systems) for testing and monitoring purposes
Solid understanding of the nature of and demands of various sports (the different football codes, the Olympic sports, netball, cricket, etc.)
Experience of utilizing data management tools to develop reports, analysis or feedback to influence coaching decision pathways
High level of competence with MS Excel and experience with data management
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent relationship management skills
Highly developed organizational and time management
PhD or Master’s Degree Sports and Exercise Science (or similar) with a strong academic record
Familiarity or experience with the United States Military
Military Security clearance for United States Government
Previous experience working with any Athlete Data Management System
Previous experience working with any Medical Software package
Previous experience working with Smartabase as a user
Previous experience developing a Smartabase site as a Builder/Admin
Experience with various data analysis and statistics packages such as R
Strong statistical and research background
